I am back again after having some festive fun. I hope you’ve all had an amazing Christmas and have got everything you could have wished for. I can’t believe another year has come and gone, my first year at University is half way through and we are now on the home straight to summer!
It has to be said 2014 hasn’t been the best of years for me personally – there are a lot of things I’m glad to be leaving behind. However, on a positive note there’s also so much I’m looking forward to in the New Year.
I’ve met some amazing people in the past few months which I can’t wait to see again after the Christmas holidays. 2014 has taught me a lot about myself. I feel as though within the last couple of months I’ve changed slightly as a person. A few people I know passed away nearer the end of the year – all far too young – which has opened my eyes and made me think a lot about my beliefs, life and how fragile it is. My perspective on how I’m living has changed, I’ve learnt not to worry as much, go with the flow and see where you end up. I know it’s a common saying but life definitely is too short and you never know what’s going to happen so you might as well live for the moment and make the most of the smallest of things.
I have a good feeling about 2015, I really hope it’s something special. 2014 ended with an awesome unexpected turn which I’m really wanting to continue and hope it’s the sign of an amazing new year…
We’ll have to see.
